There's astronaut Barbie. And CEO Barbie. Also Air Force Barbie.

And now there's Farrah Fawcett Barbie, a homage to the actress, who died in 2009 after a long fight against cancer.

The newest addition to the Mattel doll franchise -- officially known as the Barbie Collector Farrah Fawcett doll -- was inspired by Fawcett's famous red swimsuit poster from 1976. Sales of the Farrah Barbie will help raise money for the Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which provides funds for alternative methods of cancer research, clinical trials, prevention and awareness.

Alana Stewart, a longtime Fawcett friend and president of the foundation, told the Los Angeles Times that her late pal would approve. "When we were in Germany , Farrah told me she was glad she got cancer, because now she could make a difference," Stewart said.

Seems the former "Charlie's Angels" star is still making a difference, although the foundation would not say how much of a royalty it receives for each doll sold.

Farrah Barbie is available at barbie collector.com for $34.95.
