Clooney to guest star on 'Downton'

Oscar-winner George Clooney will guest-star in a mini-episode of "Downton Abbey" airing as part an annual charity show broadcast by the UK's ITV network. The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph said Clooney, 53, had already filmed his scenes for the program, "Text Santa." ITV did not reveal further details of the show, scheduled to air in the UK on Christmas. Clooney told another British paper in February he was "too lowly for a part" on the acclaimed show, airing here on PBS, joking, "I can't do the accent either."
