Jeremy Renner's wife, Sonni Pacheco, files for divorce after January 2014 marriage

Model-actress Sonni Pacheco, wife of two-time Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, has filed for divorce after less than a year of marriage.

The Los Angeles Times said Tuesday that Pacheco, who cited irreconcilable differences, filed for divorce Dec. 5 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, giving the couple's date of separation as Nov. 29. According to the cited documents, Pacheco, who is in her mid-20s, seeks spousal support, sole physical custody and joint legal custody of their toddler, Ava Berlin Renner, who was born March 28, 2013.

In addition, her filing asks that Renner "immediately return [her] stolen passport, birth certificate and Social Security card and be restrained from making further efforts to conceal same." Pacheco also wants use of the couple's Range Rover, and for "Avengers: Age of Ultron"actor Renner, who turns 44 on Jan. 7, to pay her rent, moving expenses and attorney fees. She asks he use the website Our Family Wizard to coordinate visitation with Ava and related communication, the Times said.

TMZ.com, which first reported the divorce filing, said the documents show the couple has a prenuptial agreement but that Pacheco wants it invalidated based on an unspecified claim of fraud.

The highly private Renner -- who has earned an Academy Award nomination for actor (2009's "The Hurt Locker") and another for supporting actor (2010's "The Town") -- married Pacheco on Jan. 13, but did not publicly acknowledge the union until September, while attending a Washington, D.C., screening of his film "Kill the Messenger."

Renner previously had a four-year relationship with actress Jes Macallan, with whom he broke up in 2010.

Renner's representative did not respond to Newsday's request for comment.
