There will be no holy war between Lady Gaga and Madonna over Ga's new single, "Born This Way," and its Material Girl leanings. The Lady has received Madonna's blessing.

"The good news is that I got an e-mail from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single," Gaga said on "The Tonight Show" Monday night, adding that she is Madonna's "hugest fan." "And if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be."

After all, why mess with success? Since its splashy radio debut Friday and its TV debut on the Grammys Sunday night, "Born This Way," which Ga said was inspired by Whitney Houston's voice, has sold nearly half a million copies and become an instant radio smash. It's shaping up to be only the 19th song ever to debut at No. 1 when the Billboard singles charts are announced Thursday.

HBO confirmed Tuesday that Gaga's shows Monday and Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden will be filmed for an HBO special set to air May 7, a primer for her "Born This Way" album set to arrive May 23.
