Romo and wife bring new baby home

New details emerged Wednesday about the birth of Tony Romo and Candice Crawford's son, Hawkins Crawford Romo, in Texas on Monday.

Us Weekly reported that the families of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo, 31, and on-air personality Crawford, 25, were waiting at the hospital for the birth, including "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford, the new mom's 26-year-old brother.

Additionally, The Dallas Morning News ran the first public photo of the 8 1/2-pound infant, who was born at 5:30 p.m. Monday, and said the new parents departed Plano Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday morning. This is the first child for both.

The three-time Pro Bowl star, a former boyfriend of singer Jessica Simpson, married Crawford -- who represented Missouri in the 2008 Miss USA pageant -- last May.
