Singer-actress Selena Gomez is building a perimeter fence around her home after the same intruder trespassed twice in one week.

Website TMZ.com Tuesday said that the "Spring Breakers" star took the step at her Calabasas, Calif., gated community after the alleged stalker, Che Cruz, 20, was arrested on March 30 and then again on April 4. In the first incident, The Associated Press reported, he broke into her guesthouse while Gomez, 21, was at home, and in the second he jumped the gate at her subdivision.

After Cruz acknowledged he was trespassing in the March instance, he was put on probation and served two days in jail. Within hours of his release, he again appeared at her estate, where he was arrested by sheriff's deputies. If convicted, Cruz faces up to four years in prison.

Gomez, who appears in actor William H. Macy's upcoming directorial debut, "Rudderless," released her first studio album last year, "Stars Dance," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
