'Teen Mom' begins 5-year jail term
Portwood of 'Teen Mom' begins jail term for drugs Amber Portwood of MTV's "Teen Mom" entered the Indiana prison system yesterday to serve the 5-year sentence for drug possession that she chose over continuing in rehab. TMZ.com said Portwood, 22, of Anderson, Ind., was transported from a local jail to the Rockville Correctional Facility at 7:45 a.m. yesterday. Madison County prosecutor Rodney Cummings told The Indianapolis Star that Portwood could cut her prison time in half with good conduct. Leah, her 3-year-old daughter, is in the custody of her ex-fiance, Gary Shirley.
