'Poison's Michaels, NBC's Morales pegged for pageant
Rocker Bret Michaels and TV correspondent Natalie Morales are hosting this year's Miss Universe Pageant, The Associated Press reports. The Miss Universe Organization announced yesterday that Michaels, Poison frontman and "Celebrity Apprentice" winner, and Morales, who reports for NBC's 'Today," will be presiding when the pageant airs live from Las Vegas on Aug. 23 on NBC. The two-hour special will gather contestants representing more than 80 countries.
'Bones' goes after 'The Situation' to guest-star
"Bones" creator Hart Hanson told EW.com that he has approached "Jersey Shore's" Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to guest-star in an upcoming episode inspired by the MTV phenom. "We're trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim," Hanson said. "A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We're not sure if it'll happen or not. Talks are ongoing."
'Twilight' to bow out with Nov. 2012 finale
"Twilight" fans will get their final taste of the vampire series when the second half of the finale hits theaters at the end of 2012. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," is scheduled for release Nov. 16, 2012, Summit Entertainment announced yesterday, according to The Associated Press. The first half is coming out Nov. 18, 2011. Bill Condon is set to direct both movies, based on the fourth and final book in Stephanie Meyer's series about vampires, werewolves and the teenage girl caught in between them.
