Tyler Perry expecting 1st child with girlfriend, report says

Actor and director Tyler Perry is expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele, People magazine reports. Perry, 45, best known for the character of Madea in films such as "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006), "Madea's Big Happy Family" (2011) and "A Madea Christmas" (2013), has been linked to the Ethiopian-born model and activist on and off for five years. In April 2013, Perry told talk show host Steve Harvey, "I know I would be a great father," he said. "I don't want to work this hard, I don't want to have all of this and not leave it to my children." Sources tell People that the baby is due in late fall.
