Hamptons film festival announces opening night film

Paolo Sorrentino's "Youth" will be Southampton's opening night film at this year's Hamptons International Film Festival.
The film stars Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel as old friends vacationing in the Swiss Alps while pondering retirement. The cast also includes Paul Dano ("Love and Mercy"), Rachel Weisz and Jane Fonda. "Youth" is due for release Dec. 4 through Fox Searchlight.
The festival's Views From Long Island program will include "Harry and the Snowman," a documentary about a slaughterhouse-bound horse who became a show-jumping champion under the guidance of a St. James riding instructor, Harry de Leyer.
