Did you like Christopher Nolan’s "Interstellar?" Enough to watch it twice? How about infinite times?

In a move that may mark an industry first, the makers of "Interstellar" and AMC Theatres are offering unlimited screenings of the three-hour sci-fi epic for a single ticket price. The Interstellar Unlimited Ticket is available to members of Stubs, AMC’s customer loyalty program, at 330 locations across the country (including all AMC theaters on Long Island). Prices range from $19.99 to $34.99. All AMC Stubs members who have already purchased a ticket to the movie can upgrade for $14.99.

The unusual move, which AMC calls a "first-of-its-kind" offer, comes two weeks after the film’s release. Though anticipation for the  film was high, it opened at No. 2, behind the animated film "Big Hero 6." The film has so far grossed about $97 million.

“Christopher Nolan has created a masterpiece that movie fans are saying gets better every time they see it,” Elizabeth Frank, executive vice president and chief content and programming officer of AMC Theatres said in a news release. The unlimited ticket, she says, allows fans to see the movie "as many times as they would like – at any AMC location, any showtime, in any format, including IMAX.”
