Matt Damon to appear in all-female ‘Ocean’s Eight’ with Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Rihanna and others

Matt Damon, who co-starred in the ensemble of the caper movies “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Ocean’s Twelve” and “Ocean’s Thirteen,” has revealed he has a cameo in the all-female spinoff “Ocean’s Eight.”

“I’m doing a little bit in the movie,” Damon, 46, told “Entertainment Tonight.’’ “I haven’t read it yet, but the cast is phenomenal and I’m excited to see what those women do with it. It’s going to be fun.”

The movie, which has been filming in New York, stars Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna and rapper Awkwafina. Directed by Gary Ross (“Seabiscuit,” “The Hunger Games”), the Warner Bros. feature is scheduled for release June 8, 2018.
