Streep films new movie at MacArthur AirportSony Pictures Entertainment confirms that Meryl Streep was at Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma last week to film her new movie "Ricki and the Flash," reports Newsday's Rafer Guzmán. Written by Diablo Cody ("Juno") and directed by Jonathan Demme ("Something Wild"), the film stars Streep as an aging rock star trying to reconnect with her children. Real-life rocker Rick Springfield will play one of her band members. An Instagram photo posted earlier this week showed MacArthur Airport dressed up with a banner that said "Welcome to Bob Hope Airport," which is in Burbank, California.
