Morgan Spurlock will speak at a special screening of his short documentary "Crafted" on the opening night of this year's Gold Coast International Film Festival, which runs Nov. 9-15.

Other guests include director Patricia Riggen and actor Lou Diamond Phillips, both of the upcoming drama "The 33" about 33 miners who were trapped underground for 69 days.

Michael Cuesta, the Dix Hills-raised director of Showtime's "Homeland" and his star Navid Negahban will also appear.
