Get ready for the return of Anita Baker as the R&B singer will headline UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Elmont on May 12. This show marks her first time performing on Long Island in 20 years and celebrates the 40th anniversary of her debut album, “The Songstress.”

“Looking forward to some crazy, lovely, hang time with my fans, on tour in 2023!! … Gonna, bring some new music & some special guests, too,” she said in a released statement.

Baker, 64, reached superstardom with her 1986 sophomore album, “Rapture,” which spawned the top 10 hit “Sweet Love” that won a Grammy for best R&B song the following year. Her success continued with the platinum-selling albums “Giving You the Best That I Got” (1988), “Compositions” (1990) and “Rhythm of Love” (1994).
