Bastille's 'Pompeii' poised for U.S. radio airplay

Having already conquered their United Kingdom home, Bastille is now set to storm America with their catchy new single, "Pompeii" (Virgin).
The combination of new-wave synths and the Coldplay-meets-Europop vocal delivery of singer Dan Smith is a pretty potent one, especially when the immediately recognizable chanting-monk sounds drop in.
With "Pompeii," Bastille seems strong enough to challenge all the superstars for radio airplay this fall.
