Billy Joel sets November residency show at Madison Square Garden

With the end of his unprecedented Madison Square Garden residency in sight, albeit not until July 2024, Billy Joel has announced the 96th show in that run. The newly added concert, his 142nd overall at the Garden, is set for Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 22.

General-public tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com. A Grammy Legend Award honoree and a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, the Hicksville-raised Joel, who has homes in Sag Harbor and Centre Island, began his residency on Jan. 27, 2014. His July 24, Aug. 29 and Sept. 10 concerts are sold out, according to Joel's website, and tickets remain for Oct. 20.
