Ghost to haunt UBS Arena Sept. 10

Make way for Swedish metal band Ghost, which headlines UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Elmont on Sept. 10 for its North American “Imperatour.” Mastodon will serve as special guest plus opener Spiritbox.
Calling upon inspirations like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Pentagram, Ghost has delivered such heavy driven anthems as 2015's “Cirice” and 2018's “Rats” with a gothic theatrical flair. The band’s new studio album, “IMPERA,” recently debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart featuring the single “Hunter’s Moon” from the 2021 horror film “Halloween Kills.”
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. American Express cardmembers have access to a presale starting Wednesday at noon through Thursday at 10 p.m. Check the Ticketmaster website for other presale opportunities.
