They can't say they haven't been warned. But even though every season the "Idol" producers warn contestants not to read what is written about them online, some can't resist peeking, according to USA Today. Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and James Durbin said they avoid reading about themselves, while Pia Toscano admitted she looks a little bit. "I really don't read a lot of what's said. If I do, I let it just roll of my shoulders," Toscano said.

However, Thia Megia, Jacob Lusk and Casey Abrams are drawn to the postings like moths to a flame. "It's something that I know I'm not supposed to do, but it's so intriguing," Megia said. And although he's tried to resist checking comments about his performances, Lusk said, "I'm one of those stupid people that does." Abrams actually welcomes the critiques: "I listen to opinions, and I like criticism. I take it seriously. So bring it on."
