It might not be "Down on the Corner," but for Long Islanders it'll be "Up Around the Bend" as Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty comes to Jones Beach in September.

Fogerty, a founding member of the legendary swamp rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, will play Wantagh's Northwell at Jones Beach Theater with special guest Steve Winwood on Sept. 12 as part of his "Legacy Tour." General-public tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. For presale information, go to johnfogerty.com.

Fogerty, 80, has had scores of hits in his storied career, including "Bad Moon Rising," "Proud Mary," "Born on the Bayou," "Who'll Stop the Rain," and many others. His 1985 megahit, "Centerfield," is the only song ever inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in upstate Cooperstown.

Fellow Rock Hall inductee and Grammy winner Winwood, 77, is known for the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Higher Love," as well as "Back in the High Life Again," "The Finer Things" and more.
