Is your band ready for a battle?
Newsday is once again looking for the best band from Long Island, across genres from jazz to metal and everything in between.
Interested groups will be able to submit a music video featuring their original song (no tribute bands or covers) online beginning Tuesday, June 20.
All eligible entries will be featured on newsday.com, and open to voting by fans and Newsday readers who will narrow the competition to the top 10. Then, a panel of music industry insiders will crown a winner.
