Patti LuPone has withdrawn from this year’s Long Island Music Hall of Fame induction gala due to her shooting schedule on the Showtime series “Penny Dreadful.”

The Tony winner, currently in Ireland shooting the second season of the supernatural drama, is unable to attend the induction at The Paramount in Huntington on Oct. 23.

“I feel as though I missed my golden opportunity because I know everyone being inducted,” Northport native LuPone wrote in a letter to the Hall of Fame. “So it’s especially sad I can’t be with you this year. I feel like it’s a missed opportunity.”

Long Island Music Hall of Fame vice chairman Jim Faith said the group hopes to honor LuPone at a future event.

This year’s class of inductees includes music industry legends Clive Davis and Ron Delsener, “Shake Your Love” singer Debbie Gibson, rapper Kurtis Blow, lyricist Gerry Goffin, producer Steve Thompson and “The Billy Joel Band” – multi-instrumentalist Richie Cannata, drummer Liberty DeVitto, guitarist Russell Javors, and bassist Doug Stegmeyer.
