Taking Back Sunday has set June 28 as the release date for its new eponymous album, its first since the band's “Tell All Your Friends”-era lineup reunited last year.
The Rockville Centre-based band will launch the album's first single “Faith (When I Let You Down)” on May 3, days after they headline Day 2 of this year's The Bamboozle festival at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J.
Singer Adam Lazzara, guitarist-singer John Nolan, guitarist Eddie Reyes, bassist Shaun Cooper and drummer Mark O'Connell announced Tuesday that they have lined up a summer headlining tour, which includes stops at the Reading Festival and the Leeds Festival.
The recently released “El Paso” and the hard-hitting “Best Places to be a Mom,” which was leaked late last year, have both made the cut for the Warner Bros. album produced by Eric Valentine.
A limited edition of the album, including a bonus disc of six demo tracks and 11 1-by-1 posters inspired by each song with copies of lyrics handwritten by Lazzara on the back, went on sale today on the band's website. The limited edition will ship at the same time as the new album, signed by the band.
The track listing for “Taking Back Sunday”: El Paso / Faith (When I Let You Down) / Best Places to be a Mom / Sad Savior / Who Are You Anyway? / Money (Let It Go) / This Is All Now / It Doesn't Feel A Thing Like Falling / Since You're Gone / You Got Me / Call Me in the Morning.
