Progressive metal band Tool will perform at Elmont’s UBS Arena in Belmont Park on Feb. 23 with special guests The Acid Helps.

Tool released its fifth studio album, "Fear Inoculum," just before the pandemic hit, which cut short the tour to support the record. The band hasn’t played New York since the fall of 2019.

"It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road," said drummer Danny Carey in a statement. "These past 18 months have been trying to say the least but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you."

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. Tool Army members can purchase presale tickets on Tuesday at 10 a.m. for 24 hours via toolband.com.
