'Pretty Little Liars' is ratings gold

ABC Family has struck gold with their summer hit show: Pretty Little Liars. The show that premiered this summer is ranked No. 1 for female teens and has people cringing with anticipation for the next episode.

Where did that come from? ABC Family usually provides a good dose of guilty pleasure shows like “Make it or Break it”, “Secret Life of the American Teenager” and “Huge.” So where did this breakout hit show come from?

No idea, but if ABC Family has more shows like this up their sleeves for next summer, who knows what is going to happen next.

The mid-season finale for Pretty Little Liars is tonight at 8.
