Just because our main clique is getting along doesn't mean things are drama-free on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

During Sunday's episode, Teresa Giudice prepares for the launch of her Milania Hair Care line while sister-in-law Melissa Gorga continues to work on her hot and happy marriage book, simultaneously fighting divorce rumors that are splashed on tabloid covers.

For the most part, the group is getting along. Joe Gorga even has the crazy idea to invite everyone -- EVERYONE -- to Melissa's spa birthday celebration in Arizona. Things seem fine ... until the launch party for Milania Hair Care.

Giudice invites her sister-in-law and Gorga's ex-best friend Jan, who has been questioning whether Gorga's marriage really is so "hot" and "happy." But Jan is a salon owner, so it would be in Giudice's favor to extend an invitation.

Of course, Gorga and her former friend have words at the event (while Giudice is in the back, defending her innocence with fervor). Gorga claims Jan was spreading rumors about a supposed cheating scandal. Gorga says, "I loved you, remember that," to which Jan replies, "You loved yourself."

Regardless of who is to blame, it's sad to think that a friendship can turn so easily when a camera is present. We have to wonder what it is about being documented that turns the best of friends into bitter enemies. Their actions, particularly Jan's, become so immature and catty that it's curious why one would be willing to throw away a friendship just to have air time -- particularly unflattering air time.

Crazy things have happened on this show, so perhaps a reconciliation will follow. You never know what's going to happen in the Garden State.
