Kristin Chenoweth, one of the original stars of Broadway's "Wicked," is about to work her magic at Stony Brook.

The Tony Award-winning singer-actor will make her Staller Center debut on Feb. 11 with the show "For the Girls," in which she performs songs from her repertoire. "For the Girls" will include numbers from her hit shows, including "Wicked" and "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," as well as standards, other show tunes and more. Tickets go on sale Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at stallercenter.com.

In addition to Chenoweth's concert and comedian Kevin James' previously announced shows on Jan. 27 and 28, Staller Center on Wednesday announced its winter and spring lineup. Among the highlights are performances by urban street dancer Lil Buck (Feb. 4). the Emerson String Quartet (Feb. 13 and April 11), the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra (Feb. 18 and March 25), Jazz at Lincoln Center (Feb. 25), the American Ballet Theatre (March 4), singer Storm Large (March 18), family-friendly comedian Mike E. Winfield (March 30) and Dance Theatre of Harlem (May 7).
