It will soon be time for Neil Diamond to shine on Broadway.

On Wednesday, producers of "A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical" announced that the show will begin previews at the Broadhurst Theatre on Nov. 2 before opening on Dec. 4. The cast is currently rehearsing the show in New York City ahead of a six-week tryout at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre from June 21 to July 31. Helming the show is Michael Mayer, who directed the current Broadway revival of "Funny Girl" starring Beanie Feldstein.

"A Beautiful Noise" will tell the story of Diamond's life and six-decade musical career starting with his upbringing in Brooklyn. Peppered throughout the show will be dozens of Diamond's hit songs, including "Sweet Caroline," "Cherry, Cherry," "Solitary Man" and "Love on the Rocks."

Casting for the Broadway show will be announced at a later date.
