The John W. Engeman Theater’s production of “Once,” about a Dublin street musician who meets a woman who falls for him and his music, is getting three additional performances.

Due to overwhelming demand, Engeman has added new shows on Feb. 20 and 27 at 8 p.m. and a final performance on March 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the new dates can be purchased at engemantheater.com.

The musical has a rich history having started as a 2007 film that won an Oscar for best original song (“Falling Slowly”). It then had a successful 1,168-performance run on Broadway from March 2012 through January 2015 and won eight Tony Awards including best musical.
