On May 9, Patti LuPone will spend her night off from the Broadway hit "Company" singing for a good cause.

The Northport native will perform the benefit concert "Songs From a Hat" at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater in support of the center’s theatrical productions and education programs. LuPone, who celebrates her 73rd birthday Thursday, will headline an intimate evening of song, with the titles randomly chosen from a hat. The program will also consist of some of her signature songs along with a few surprises.

Gala tickets, which include a post-performance dinner, start at $2,500 and can be purchased by contacting Karin Schall at schall@lct.org or Dana Jones at jones@lct.org. A limited number of seats priced between $75 and $150 are available at the Lincoln Center Theater box office as well as on telecharge.com and at lct.org. In addition, a limited number of $30 seats will be available via a digital ticket lottery starting May 2.

LuPone currently stars as the acid-tongued, martini-swilling Manhattanite Joanne in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's "Company" at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. The singer-actor has been a popular presence on Broadway since her debut in 1973 in a revival of Chekhov's "The Three Sisters." Among her other notable Broadway credits are "Oliver!," "Master Class," "Anything Goes" and her Tony-winning performances as Eva Perón in "Evita" in 1979 and as Mama Rose in the 2008 revival of "Gypsy."
