Candice Glover (Season 12 winner): Glover, the most recent contestant to take home the "Idol" title, claims she's busier than she's ever been. She is currently participating in the Idol LIVE! tour with other finalists from the season.

Kree Harrison (Season 12 runner up): The most-recent "Idol" runner-up might have plans to work with ex-judge Randy Jackson, after discovering they have a mutual friend.

Phillip Phillips (Season 11 winner): Phillips released "The World from the Side of the Moon" in November 2012 after winning "Idol" earlier that year. His hit single "Gone, Gone, Gone" was the farewell song for eliminated finalists each week on "Idol" Season 12.

Jessica Sanchez (Season 11 runner-up): Sanchez, who wowed audiences with her rendition of Whitney Huston's "I Will Always Love You," released an album titled "Me, You & the Music" in April 2013, and has appeared on the FOX show "Glee."

Scotty McCreery (Season 10 winner): McCreery, the youngest male-winner on "Idol," who took the title at only 17, has released two albums, "Clear as Day" and "Christmas with Scotty McCreery." He is currently on a cross-country tour.

Lauren Alaina (Season 10 runner up): Alaina released the album "Wildflower" in 2011, and debuted her latest single, "Barefoot and Buckwild," on "Idol" Season 12. Her sophomore album, "Eyes," is slated for release at the end of 2013.

Lee DeWyze (Season 9 winner): DeWyze has released three albums since winning "Idol" in 2010, and married model/actress Jonna Walsh in July 2012. He will be touring the Midwest with Serena Ryder in late August.

Crystal Bowersox (Season 9 runner-up): Bowersox released two albums and is currently touring the U.S. She will appear on Broadway in "Always, Patsy Cline" this year.

Kris Allen (Season 8 winner): Allen has released three albums since winning "Idol," and just became a father for the first time in July 2013. He is scheduled to perform in Pennsylvania, South Dakota and Idaho this year.

Adam Lambert (Season 8 runner-up): Lambert has released five albums, sang the late Freddie Mercury's parts during multiple performances with Queen, and is embarking on a North American tour with the band, which kicks off June 19 with a July 17 stop at Madison Square Garden.

David Cook (Season 7 winner): Cook released a self-titled album shortly after winning "Idol." After losing his brother Adam to brain cancer in 2009, the singer moved to New York to work on his second album, "This Loud Morning," which was released in 2011.

David Archuleta (Season 7 runner-up): Archuleta has released four albums since his time on "Idol," and is still best known for his 2008 single "Crush." He has worked with philanthropy organizations including Rising Star Outreach and Invisible Children. Archuleta released an autobiography in 2010, "Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song, And The Power of Perseverance," a New York Times best-seller.

Jordin Sparks (Season 6 winner): Since becoming "Idol"'s youngest winner at age 17, Sparks has released two albums and many singles including "Battlefield" and "Tattoo." She has toured with Britney Spears, The Jonas Brothers and Alicia Keys, and performed for President Bush and President Obama. She has been dating R&B singer Jason Derulo since 2010.

Blake Lewis (Season 6 runner-up): Lewis released two albums, "Audio Day Dream" and "Heartbreak on Vinyl," since 2007. The beat boxer DJ-ed for Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and more during the 2009 T-mobile Grammy Celebration Concert Tour.

Taylor Hicks (Season 5 winner): Hicks has released three albums since winning "Idol," and has performed with The Allman Brothers, Willie Nelson and Jackson Browne.

Katherine McPhee (Season 5 runner-up): The star of recently canceled NBC show "Smash" has also acted in movies, including "The House Bunny" and "Shark Night." McPhee has released three albums since her "Idol" days, and has been working alongside the organization No More Malaria for two years.

Carrie Underwood (Season 4 winner): Underwood has become one of country music's most popular performers, selling over 15 million albums worldwide and winning five Grammy Awards since topping "Idol" in 2005. She married hockey player Mike Fischer in 2010.

Bo Bice (Season 4 runner-up): Bice has released three albums since competing on "American Idol," and is currently touring the country.

Fantasia Barrino (Season 3 winner): Barrino played herself in the 2005 Lifetime movie based on her life, "Life Is Not a Fairytale: The Fantasia Barrino Story." In 2010, she starred on her own VH1 reality show, and won a Grammy Award for R&B vocal performance in 2011. Barrino has played Celie in the Broadway play "The Color Purple," and is returning to the stage in 2013 for a performance in "After Midnight." She has released four albums including 2013's "Side Effects of You."

Diana DeGarmo (Season 3 runner-up): DeGarmo released an album, "Blue Skies," shortly after "Idol" in 2004, and currently has five new songs on her website. Her TV work includes a hosting gig on the series "Planet 360," a role on "The Young and the Restless" and voicing the character Wanda on the Nickelodeon cartoon "The Fairly Oddparents." She married "Idol" Season 5 finalist Ace Young in June 2013.

Ruben Studdard (Season 2 winner): Studdard has released six albums, including a greatest hits record, has starred in the film "Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," the TV show "8 Simple Rules" and other series. He will be contestant on the upcoming season of "The Biggest Loser."

Clay Aiken (Season 2 runner-up): Aiken has released six albums and won an American Music Award for his first, "Measure of Man." He ended up on Broadway in "Monty Python's Spamalot" in 2008, and released a memoir, "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life," which focused on his upbringing, music and spirituality, in 2004.

Justin Guarini (Season 1 runner-up): Guarini stared in the 2003 film "From Justin to Kelly" shortly after coming in second to Kelly Clarkson, and later released two albums. In 2011, he guest starred on the popular Disney Channel show, "Wizards of Waverly Place." He married high school classmate Reina Capodici in 2009. They have two children together, plus Capodici's daughter, Lola.
