Angela Miller, Adriana Latonio, Amber Holcomb, Kree Harrison and surprise Tenna Torres make 'American Idol' semifinals

"American Idol" is about to cut five contestants; shouldn't be any surprises -- pretty obvious who should go on and who won't based on their performances tonight.

First up is Jenny Beth Willis; she's going to get cut, and indeed is. Brandy Hotard next, should be cut too; and she is. Tenna Torres steps up, should be cut too; oh, and she is not! Does not bode well for one of my favorites, Shubha Vedula.

Up next is Kree Harrison, she'll easily make it through, and does. Isabelle next, she'll be cut and is. Judges' favorite Angela Miller steps up, and is easily through.

Kamaria Ousley next, she'll be cut and indeed is. Amber Holcomb bounces up, easily makes it through.

One slot left, Adriana Latonio and Vedula are sitting there waiting. They say they're actually each others' best friends on the show; wow, tough moment. Latonio will get through, and does.
