Erika Van Pelt in 'American Idol' bottom 3; Elise Testone gets reprieve

Heejun Han, Erika Van Pelt and Hollie Cavanagh are the final group up on "American Idol," one of them will be joining Elise Testone and surprise pick Shannon Magrane in the bottom three tonight.

I think it will be Van Pelt, there's nothing distinctive about her in my mind. Han wasn't great this week but he's still my favorite performer, more because of his personality than anything he's shown vocally recently.

Cavanagh is safe, and it's Van Pelt in the bottom three; Han is safe.

Jennifer Lopez says she's not happy that Testone is in the bottom three, and Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson agree. Eh, I don't know, I defy anyone to remember what she sang.

One of the bottom three is going back to safety -- and it's Testone. Good timing by the judges.
