Frenetic Joshua Ledet 'really in the zone' on 'American Idol'

That's exactly right; Ledet's a serious, good guy who cares about his music.

He's going 100 miles right from the start, just spitting out the lyrics, moving all around the stage. He's like James Brown; he's on stage, owns the place, and you can't take your eyes off him. Not crazy about the song choice, but a fun, professional performance to watch.

His dad's in the audience for the first time, comes up -- wearing his Team Josh T-shirt -- and gives him a hug.

Uh, really; they're so not the same speed. He says, "I can assure you we are not dating, period. And that's because she owns a gun." Ha! And yet, true.

Their voices blend well, and they're actually listening to each other -- they're a good duet team. "You just made love singing to each other," says Steven Tyler. "Gorgeous."
