Hard to believe - hard in that it seemed like almost yesterday - but "In Living Color" began exactly twenty years ago today.

It's long gone, of course, but what a series - vastly, hugely important for Fox and the Wayans and a type of comedy that was pretty darned rare on TV even by that time (a comedy/variety show produced by, directed towards, and largely acted  by African  Americans.) Keenan and Shawn and Marlon and Damon and...Jamie Foxx

Of course, it launched a white guy too, Jim Carrey.

For some strange reason, I was actually thinking of Fire Marshall Bill today. Maybe it was that story about the fireball out west that freaked everyone out. Fire Marshall Bill would have very much liked that fireball.

So...if you've never see Fire Marshall Bill... or "Mike Tyson"...
