Jessica Sanchez called 'magnificent,' Elise Testone in bottom three on 'American Idol'

Ah, and mentor Jimmy Iovine, who was oddly missing from Thursday night's show, is back; like me, he didn't like Sanchez's first song, "Bohemian Rhapsody," but calls her second song, "Dance With My Father," just "magnificent."

He loves how she put emotion into it, calls her "smart" for opening up and sharing her story about her dad being deployed overseas.

And the results are... Sanchez is in the top three, Testone back in the bottom three like she's been most weeks during the finals.

Then, last season's boy band member wanna-be Stefano Langone performs his "On a Roll" with what looks like a boy band behind him.

He's not very good; sounds like a thousand other singers before him. But a nice guy with a genuine smile.
