Louis, Louis, Louis...

 

  Tonight: "Louis," on FX, at 11.

  Maybe you've heard of it. A bunch of reviews out this morning were at best mixed; I didn't actually get to one for the paper, but my initial reaction is that the word "mixed" is exactly right.

 This is a most curious series - funny in parts, flat in others. It ambles along - largely pointless, but that is the whole idea.  I'm also convinved that fans of Louis C.K. will jump right on board, and stay for the ride.

  Enough...let's go to the clips. The first two are good, representative promos - representative of tone, style, voice, etc. Next, a famous clip from Conan's "Late Night." Finally, a Time Magazine interview with LCK.
