Margo Martindale to FX's 'The Americans'
Here's a notable cast announcement: Margo Martindale has joined FX's period drama (if you call being set in the '80s a "period") "The Americans." She was, of course, Mags Bennett in "Justified" -- one of the real standout roles on TV that season for which she won a supporting Emmy. Per FX, Martindale will play the role of Claudia, a KGB illegal living in the U.S. who delivers assignments to KGB directorates Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, Russian spies posing as Americans. The show is about a pair of KGB spies posing as suburban mom and dad; Matthew Rhyss, Keri Russell star, and it bows Jan. 30.
