Simon and Paula hubbub? Don't worry ...

For those of you hearing a little bit of noise about Simon Cowell hiring Paula Abdul as the third judge on "X Factor," do not worry. You haven't missed anything. (Which is another way of saying: You'll know as soon as I do.)

Last night, "Deadline" posted a SiCo interview in which he said Paula would be his next hire. This morning, SiCo's reps denied the whole thing (which is another way of saying they got blindsided). Sure -- it'll probably happen. But it hasn't quite yet.
