Skylar Laine hits bullseye for 'American Idol' judges

"American Idol" is in Houston, and impressively got an astronaut on the International Space Station to open the show (unfortunately he didn't sing.)

Spacey Phong Vu up first, unfortunately he's going to sing, doesn't seem like he can string a coherent sentence together. Tells Jennifer Lopez he loves to sing "female pop artists; it's in my soul, that's why I want to bring it."

It's about as bad as you'd imagine. After the break they come back with more bad singers.

ATV-riding hunter Skylar Laine up next, her family owns a store in Mississippi. Doing "Hell on Heels," think she's just okay, not crazy about her tone. But Jennifer Lopez "loves" it all, as do the other judges.
