Skylar Laine up first on "American Idol," singing Kellie Pickler's "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You." They're singing songs from 2010-now.
It's a perfect fit for her -- draws us in, makes us believe; plus she's playing the guitar. Shows off her big pipes on the chorus; most importantly, she just sounds good. People are going to remember this one, even though she went first. Kellie must be busting right now, really well done.
"This song is so in your wheelhouse," says Randy Jackson. "I felt you for the first time in a long time... that was crazy hot."
Jennifer Lopez says she was in "perfect pitch," with adding, "I love the way you sang, girl."
