Snooki and JWoww: Dumb and dumber on new show

This is probably it, though from MTV's perspective, "Snooki & JWoww" just seemed ridiculously obvious from the beginning. Not just two wild party girls, but the wildest party girls, together in the big city, or a big city. On paper, "Snooki & JWoww" promised to be a guilty something ("pleasure" doesn't quite seem like the right word). We'd rubberneck for a while, then move along.
But there may be no compelling reason to even do that. Limp and (appropriately) lunkheaded, "Snooki & JWoww" stars two people who'd probably rather be stuck in an elevator than in this money grab. When Snooki confides that she's engaged and (oh, yeah) pregnant, JWoww suddenly gets a grim glimpse of her future foretold on the show -- forced sobriety, and a roommate with morning sickness.
Turns out, in fact, that a sober Snooki isn't all that much different from a drunken one. She still has that endearing habit of seeing the world much as 3-year-olds do. "The fact that I can reproduce is very scary," says she. From the mouths of babes.
