'Community," the wacky NBC comedy starring Joel McHale and Chevy Chase that's set at Greendale Community College, returns to the lineup Thursday after a brief hiatus. Here are five other series that have been campus-set:

1. DELTA HOUSE (1979) -- Made-for-TV version of "Animal House," whose cast included several actors from the movie reprising their roles.

2. A DIFFERENT WORLD (1987-93) -- "Cosby Show" spinoff set at Hillman College, the institution from which Dr. Cliff Huxtable (and his father) both graduated. "Cosby" kid Lisa Bonet starred in the show during its first season.

3. ROOMIES (1987) -- Short-lived sitcom about a pair of unlikely freshman roommates: a 42- year-old retired Marine drill sergeant (Burt Young) and a 14-year-old genius (Corey Haim).

4. THE PARKERS (1999-2004) -- "Moesha" spinoff about a mother (Mo'Nique) and daughter (Moesha's best friend, Kim, played by Countess Vaughn) attending Santa Monica College together.

5. UNDECLARED (2001-02) -- Judd Apatow comedy about freshmen at the University of Northeastern California, Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel among them.
