April is the month for autism, Parkinson's and cancer care awareness
The month of April opens our eyes to many people who may need our help as the month is dedicated to awareness of certain diseases and health-related issues. Here are a few:
Autism Awareness
(autism-society.org): There will be a live Twitter chat in April to discuss questions that people may have regarding this disability.
Parkinson's Awareness (pdf.org): It's a disease that affects the nervous system and has no cure.
Cancer Control Awareness (cancer.gov): Most people have been affected by cancer in their lives. Maybe a family member or a friend or just a person you may know. It's important to honor those who survived or are suffering from cancer. We should all think about it once in a while.
These are just a few of the issues acknowledged in April. Which one will you support?
