I read "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck," by Jeff Kinney (Amulet Books). In the eighth book in the Wimpy Kid series, Greg Heffley is having girl trouble. Greg's best friend, Rowley, has a girlfriend, Abigail. She does not like anything Greg and Rowley like. All of a sudden, Rowley's opinions are changing. He always listens to Abigail.

When Greg's mom announces the family is visiting Grandma for Easter, things get even crazier. All of a sudden, Grandma's ring is missing and everyone searches for it. When Greg finds a Magic 8 Ball, he asks it questions on everything. The Magic 8 Ball provides Greg with guidance.

I loved the book. It is full of jokes. It is a very fun way to see how a middle-school kid lives. I can relate because I am in middle school. Many of the topics are actually real. I recommend this book to anyone of any age, especially kids.
