National Lollipop Day is on Saturday, and there's a great way you can enjoy this kid-friendly treat while helping a children's charity.
Lollipop Theater Network, an organization that brings current in-theater movies to kids confined in hospitals, teamed up with the national candy store IT'SUGAR selling $1 special retro swirl lollipops throughout the year.
The organization works with major studios to secure the films and make a big, fun production out of it so hospitalized children can enjoy the same moviegoing experience as their friends and siblings. There are real movie tickets, red carpets and occasionally, some of the stars of the movie stop by.
The lollipops are available in three flavors: blue raspberry, rainbow cherry and watermelon patch.
