The hottest new toys announced at Toy Fair 2018
The 115th annual North American International Toy Fair at the Javits Center offered something for every kind of kid. The four-day event, where more than 1,000 companies debuted toys for 2018 included augmented-reality robots and coding toys, new kinds of slime and other squishy items, collectibles (L.O.L. Surprise, Shopkins), unique family games, playsets from TV and movies, such as "Incredibles 2" and a fresh take on Fingerlings, classic plush toys and more.
While it's hard to say what the best new toys of 2018 will be, here are some your kids may be clamoring for this year.
Fingerlings Hugs
Fingerlings Hugs from WowWee have extra-long arms perfect for hugs and cuddling. Kids can also swing them, pet them and rock them to sleep. Give them a kiss and they'll kiss back. 'Incredibles 2', Jack-Jack Attacks
Jack-Jack Attacks from Jakks Pacific is an interactive doll representing the baby in Disney's "Incredibles 2," which opens in theaters this year. Continue to press on his belly to cycle through his powers: He turns red to show his fiery flames, flashes yellow and creates spark sounds to show off his electric sparks and his eyes glow blue when his laser eyes kick in.
