On Monday, June 6, we met someone famous! We met Jack Griffo, who plays Max on the Nickelodeon show “The Thundermans.”

Our day began with a science test in class, but we got to leave school early. We took a train into New York City; the train ride was long, but worth it. We stopped at McDonald’s since we left school early and didn’t have lunch. Then we walked several blocks to this huge office building on Park Avenue. We were so nervous when we went up in the elevator to the eighth floor, but when we arrived at the office to meet him, he was so nice that our nervousness disappeared.

The interview was really exciting. He answered all of our questions. He told us that “The Thundermans” is a really fun show to tape, that he knew the actress who plays his twin, Phoebe (actress Kira Kosarin), from school before he got on the show, and that sometimes even he forgets his lines and makes a blooper. The hardest episode to film was the crossover between “Henry Danger” and “The Thundermans.” On the show, Max has a pet rabbit called Dr. Colosso. We asked him if he had any pets in real life, and he said he used to have a dog named Chewie after Chewbacca.

Our favorite part was when we asked him if he ever played Minecraft, and he laughed and said no. Our least favorite part was when the interview was over and we had to leave, but first he posed for pictures with us. We rated this interview 5 smiles because it was the first time we met a famous celebrity and the celebrity we met was so nice. We had a lot to talk about on the train ride home and with our classmates the next day. Get ready for the crossover TV show when “The Thundermans” and another great Nickelodeon show, “Henry Danger,” collide on June 18.
