I read “Mr. Puffball: Stunt Cat to the Stars,” by Constance Lombardo (Katherine Tegen Books). Mr. Puffball is different from his siblings because he likes to act and hum show tunes. One day while watching TV he sees El Gato, a movie star! He decides to become a movie star. He makes a list of what he needs to do to become an actor. His mom tells him his grandmother was an actress and she tells him to follow his dream! He decides if Hollywood won’t come to him, then he’ll go to it. He travels and writes notes to his mother all about the things he is doing. I think kids ages 9 and 10 will like this story.
