Looking for something to do on Saturday? Head out to the Port Jefferson Health and Wellness Expo in the Port Jefferson Village.
As part of the Health and Wellness Expo, St. Charles Hospital is hosting a free Pediatric Health Fair for kids and parents alike.
Children will receive free dental, scoliosis and diabetes screenings and have the chance to participate in free bike safety and hand-washing activities.
Parents and caregivers can connect with local pediatric specialists and learn about children's health issues including asthma and allergy prevention, pediatric sleep disorders and more. There will also be representatives available to discuss topics such as breast-feeding, childhood nutrition, child safety and dental health.
The Pediatric Health Fair takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission and entertainment are free and includes healthy snacks, balloon animals, face painting and fun giveaways.
